well advice for that.  no matter what anyone says drink at home nice and safe.  as far as the gun ban you can have anything that is semi-auto that includes an sks, ak, m-16, m4a1,  uzi's mac-10's.  for full auto you have to get a paper signed by the sherif that permits you to have it however in desperate time and if things come to it these rifles can be easily converted.  sks's are cheap and reliable aks are a bit nicer but in most cases twice the price they both take the same ammunition the 7.62x39.   both are acurate and you can hunt with both.  m-16's are made by colt so they are more expensive and expecially m4a1 this is because during the cold war teh ak's were made by many countries mostly communists.  so the flood of sks's and ak's have made the price very cheap.  in some cases a semi auto is better from the standpoint is that its much more accurate in my opinion.
