They have an average of 20.4 sexual partners, according to a survey by condom-maker Durex - well above the global average of 7.3.

are those real statistic. it seems to me that new york had a bigger genital herpes record than the rest of america. in fact 14% of american having genital herpes is a whole fucking lot. but i want real statistic, not just about anything to scare the dagnabbit out of me into wearing a condom. ( women with genital herpes give it to mens even with a condom by the way) . i want to know where those statistics come from

I don't believe that women should be restricted to one man for the entirety of their lives - all people make mistakes, and failed love is one of these.  However, whoring oneself, as I see many women do in England (and I assume the problem is widespread), is disgraceful, and should not be allowed.

The problem is that marriage does not last as well as it should, because people are too stressed due to their modern lifestyles.  This stress causes arguments over petty things between people who used to get on very well with each other, and it is for that reason that divorce rates are at their highest - people find that their lives are too difficult for them to be interested in the lives of others, no matter how they may love/have loved those others.

We live in a sexually permissive society which would be far more so (Bonobo level) were it not for sexually transmitted diseases, especially AIDS. 
I am not entirely fixed on an exact opinion regarding number of partners.  It really depends on the situation.  But sexual incontinence and shallow sex that has nothing to do with a meeting of minds is 100% wrong - and that is what I would call real promiscuity.

There should not be double standards where it is less acceptable for a woman to have had more than one partner than for a man.
 
Also there are complicating factors such as peer pressure to lose virginity rather than to keep it, pressure from boys on girls, pressure from the sexually obsessed society that presents sluts as being the most beautiful and desirable women,  young people brainwashed into thinking that women have to look like porn stars (which makes many women feel insecure and leads to them trying to find out if they pass the standard by having sex first with someone they don't love, so that the rejection would be less painful, or else alternatively they could get confidence. )   DO YOU SEE HOW MESSED UP THIS IS?

And then you also get men who say they hate sluts, etc but then they joke about porn and sodomy.  And the result of this is that no one really thinks any of it matters just so long as you are ambiguous (and quite possibly hypocritical) and no one knows if you're a virgin or the whore of Babylon/ Ben Dover or that type of thing.
