I really hate white rappers...as an african american i find it repulsive that our oppressors would mock us by copying our own style of music, not to say i'm a hip-hop fan, but it's just such a bad reflection of character of the white race...

I wouldn't say they are really artists. They are entertainers that amuse people with music and videos. It's a stretch to call it art. Why are you so worried about those products?
As someone who finds rap stupid and unlistenable I make an exception for Eminem. Though he is an oppressor he is actually skilled with language and mocks rap's pretension with innovation.

I am worried about it because it sucks ass thats why...I was the one who threatened to kill Korn and I don't have any regrets about it either...

Sorry, I do not mean to intrude on an argument or anything, but the person who originally posted this post, I was wondering what is so wrong with Linkin Park? They are the main band in the movie transformers 2, (sorry if I sound childish) but they do a really good job of portraying the image in which is created. But I do agree with you on Manson's Music and Emenim, it is really sad for these musicians, I feal sorry for them because of how much hate they have.

I think Necro and Eminem are both very intelligent and very talented artists.
If you think that they play 'African American music' then you better throw out all your rock music as it wouldn't exist without the race mixing that has happened in this great country we call America.

Why do you not like them? Is it because you're black? I like some of their music. They add some bagpipes to the scene which makes them original and/or creative. The rest of the artists I could not give a damn about. What do you think about Peter Gabriel and Johnny Cash? Creative and original. |
