If we all decided to become Christians tomorrow, where would a person wanting to explore Buddhism go? With no malice, our majority influence would have eliminated Buddhism.

The question is more complicated when the philosophies are directly contradictory. In Christianity, Judaism and popular conceptions of Western thought, personal morality is more important than focused collective action, and thus "tolerance" is a popular issue.

In the Nazi paradigm, Western popular thought is hypocritical for this reason. If we fail to come up with a sensible collective plan, we all suffer - but it is no one's fault because we were all concerned with tolerance for all forms of thought and not finding a sensible form.

One example of this is in the endless moralizing against Nazism by various members of the undereducated in today's society. If there was a valid argument against it, it would be clear to all, but instead most arguments center around Nazi "violations" of individual rights and come from societies with no collective goals to speak of.

Let us put it this way:

Would you "tolerate" your neighbor molesting children?
Would you "tolerate" your neighbor dumping toxic waste in a river?
Would you "tolerate" your neighbor if he belonged to a religion that replaces natural systems with artificial human moral "solutions"?

Nazis like to point out the hypocrisy of modern Western liberal democracies by repeating these points: there is no freedom of speech, there is no freedom of press, and there is very little individual freedom from the controlling hands of capitalism. You do not see these things because you have been raised in the values of this society, and its methods of control are far subtler than the more honest methods of Nazi Germany.

If your response to this is "but Nazis want to take over the world and exclude all other political systems" ask yourself which political system does not aspire to the same, or what the UN, WTO and other agents of global capitalism are doing. - ehre
