Education

Education is the path to our future.

From childhood onward, we learn and thus become aware of the depth and breadth of our world, and from that are better able to understand history and learning; education encourages intelligence, and allows those with mental powers to channel them toward healthy ends. Education, like a job, is however a means to an end. For this reason we will give our children the opportunity to pursue education as far as each individual is capable. Unlike an academic and effete system of schools from a culture without consensus, ours will be based around the traditional learning of each tribe and will in that context address modern technology, philosophy and the humanities.

It is imperative that children are given the power to understand an adult world as soon as they are able, without thrusting upon them the neurosis of enduring problems or fractions in society. For this reason, our educational system will not aim to cover every point of view, but to give a balanced overview of our past and future through the intellectual tools we use to understand these. In each culture, it will seek to explore fully the essence of that culture, and does not aim to give each child a view of all world cultures; for that, they must travel, when they are older, or seek specialized disciplines. However, we will not exclude any knowledge on the basis of its perceived origin, as all knowledge that describes our reality originates in nature itself.

Schools will be independent of religion.

In decadent republics, education is politicized to either teach children things alien to their tradition, or to avoid teaching ideas which have become associated with denial of certain religions. We will teach reality as a whole, according to the past of our peoples, and will leave religious education for the home.

Learning will be subsidized according to degree of ability.

The initial stages of education are required for all citizens, and will be fully subsidized; our society will be structured so that opportunity in jobs and society correspond to ability and not a pile of degrees. Since this reduces the pressure to get unnecessary education, as there is no penalty for avoiding time otherwise wasted in unneeded study, the educational system at the collegiate level and beyond will be available, and fully subsidized, for those who have excelled in academic fields and have the inclination to pursue them. There is no linear scale of measuring our people such that having more degrees means more money, and more prestige. Academia is to be viewed as one branch of specialized education, on par with any form of professional education in the crafts.
