09/26/2007: "Moralist multicultural Americans oppress another country"
President Bush announced new sanctions Tuesday against the military dictatorship in Myanmar, accusing it of imposing "a 19-year reign of fear" that denies basic freedoms of speech, assembly and worship.
"Americans are outraged by the situation in Burma, where a military junta has imposed a 19-year reign of fear," Bush told the U.N. assembly. "Basic freedoms of speech, assembly and worship are severely restricted. Ethnic minorities are persecuted."
[ It's the same thing every time. America good because it has freedom, anyone who isn't bowing to America's economic and cultural dominance is bad because they hate our freedom, aren't pro-religion, and are racist. Just like Hitler, of course. ]
