09/30/2007: "'Premium fuel' raises skepticism"
Editor Steve Fowler said: "Our tests show premium fuels are an unnecessary expense with no major fuel economy or performance benefit.
"Even using fuel companies' own figures, you are unlikely to travel seven per cent further on a tank of fuel for a seven per cent increase in your fuel bill."
