01/28/2008: "White people are slaves to minivans"

Popular culture is so anti-minivan today that driving one is so counter-culture, so in the face of popular biases, so keeping-it-real, that it's almost punk rock. In a utilitarian way, anyway.

[ Hipsters justify them. The minivan represents everything that sucks about our society: going to a boring job, turning off your brain, and running away to the suburbs and letting problems pile up for the next generation. The minivan is a headstone for white self-respect. ]
