03/07/2008: "An analysis of fear of anti-Semitism"
In my culture, and of course I can't speak for all Jews, we flip out when there is any perception of anti-semitism and we attack people in a very aggressive, intimidating way but we don't mind when other cultures or people are insulted. This is very much part of our culture and I understand it because we have been victims in the past and often victims will overcompensate by being bullies but actually it stems from fear and insecurity.
I can't remember exactly what Regan said but I think she said something about how she thought Jews had too much power in her industry and she compared what they were doing to her with the Nazis or something crazy like that. I don't think it was really anti-semitism but more about a "everyone is out to get me, they all hate me, I've been persucted like slaves in Africa and Jews during the Holocaust and everything is all about me" woman who has to be dramatic and make herself more of a victim than she is. That isn't anti-semitism. It's something but not that.
[ Honest nationalism turns that defensive reactionary behavior into a healthy, self-affirming, positive outlook. Nazis should realize Zionists are brothers and help them realize this goal. ]
