07/18/2008: "Black mob of around 30 vicously attack two white policemen over litter dispute"

Schoolchildren who attacked a policeman after he asked one of them to pick up some litter behaved worse than animals, the officer said today.

A colleague who raced to his aid was pulled to the ground and kicked by others as several older men and women joined the fracas in a shopping precinct in Croydon, south London.

At one point more than 30 people were involved in the fight in North End, a popular after-school hangout for young people.

All of those involved were black.

[ The likely response is to create a police no-go area and leave them to stew in their own little bit of Africa in London. ]
