10/22/2008: "Swedish habit of adopting Vietnamese babies is halted"
The Swedish government plans to halt adoptions of children from Vietnam citing concerns over corruption and fears that the child's best interests don’t always come first.
"It's a really tough blow for many families who are waiting. Vietnam is also the only country many can consider adopting from," said Jan Goransson, head of the Adoptionscentrum adoption agency, to Sveriges Radio.
According to Sveriges Radio, a child from Vietnam is adopted by Swedish parents about once a week on average.
[ Adopting foreign babies like this is like buying a new pet for these mentally twisted individuals. In some cases the children are even bought from the parents. Such children from an ethnic background whose cultural norm is to find it quite acceptable to sell your child even into prostitution are not going to enhance Swedish culture in the slightest. It is great news that this particular nation is now out of bounds to the anti-Swedes who spit on the values of kinship by importing pluralism into Scandinavia. ]
