01/25/2009: "Two science historians claim Darwin was motivated by a desire to abolish slavery"

Science historians Adrian Desmond and James Moore have compiled compelling new evidence which reveals Darwin was passionately opposed to slavery and this was the moral impetus behind his work.

The historians have also discovered letters written by Darwin's sisters, cousins and aunts that reveal the family as highly active abolitionists. Darwin's grandfather and uncles were also key members of the anti-slavery movement.

"What he was saying was that if you accept evolution, then you don't accept the view that black people are a separate species. It is clear that he believed the same as his grandfathers - that slaves were men and brothers."

[ This is such nonsense! Although it would be deeply ironic if Darwinism really came about through a desire to improve the lot of the negro. Opposition to slavery is what you could expect from anyone remotely intelligent and with a sense of justice. Adolf Hitler wouldn't approve of whites keeping black slaves after all. Darwinism proves as much that people have a rodent ancestor as that we once shared an ancestor with negroes, before evolving in our separate directions. ]

Next these negrophilic "science historians" will come out with a book attesting that Francis Galton, (the creator of eugenics) was a supporter of miscegenation between simian blacks and aryans.

In the above article it states: "Darwin chose to highlight the common descent of man from apes to show that all races are equal, as a rebuttal to those who insisted black people were a different, and inferior, species from those with white skin."

Of course this is all propaganda, since in the Descent of Man Darwin stated: "The civilized races are now extending their range, so as to take the place of the lower races." -chapter5

Thus invalidating the notion that Darwin viewed all men as racial equals.
