02/18/2009: "Foreign workers' share of UK job market almost doubles under Labour to record high"

Non-UK born workers now account for one in seven jobs after more than 1.8 million foreigners were added to the UK labour force over the last decade.

Two thirds of those have come from outside the EU, making a mockery of the Government's claims that a cap on immigration will be ineffective because the majority of workers come from within the Union, taking advantage of free movement.

It comes as separate research found Britain has taken in up to four times as many workers from Europe as there are Britons working in the EU.

People used to feel, beyond making a living for themselves, that they were working to make their nation great, but now their effort is only strengthening corporate power and people from around the world are played off against each other to lower wages. Time to elect nationalists! ]
