08/07/2009: "US won't investigate Black Panthers for voter intimidation"
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is expected to approve Friday the sending of a second letter to the Justice Department, asking it to justify its decision in May to drop charges against members of the New Black Panther Party accused of intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place in the November election.
Martin Dannenfelser, staff director, said a majority of the commissioners were not satisfied with a response by the department to a June 16 letter, in which the commission said the decision to drop the case had caused it "great confusion" since the NBPP members were "caught on video blocking access to the polls, and physically threatening and verbally harassing voters."
In an undated letter received by the commission June 20, the Justice Department said the complaint was dismissed because "the facts and the law did not support" the accusations, and came after a "careful and thorough review by Acting Assistant Attorney General Loretta King."

For the record (on the off-chance that somebody who knows me actually reads this), I am neither a "libertarian national socialist" nor a racist; rather, I am a traditionalist, one who fears that college-encouraged hedonism and Hollywood-facilitated ignorance blind the public to the apocalyptic dangers posed by our capitalistic system and its runaway wastefulness. I frequent this website and research the far-right in general because I am wary of left-wing political thought (see the ecological outcome of Communist rule in Russia and China), disturbed by its prevalence in academia, and appreciative of the 19th-and-20th century's protofascistic theorists. It is a shame academia does not recognize these renegade geniuses of the Post-Christian era as genuine intellectuals, for even if one ultimately dismisses their validity (I suppose we must), they grapple with our decline into cultural mediocrity and its metaphysical roots with a perspicacity that poses a stimulating dialectical antithesis to the Enlightenment perspective advanced in our public schools and the Communist perspective advanced by higher education. Given the unprecedented challenges of the new century, wouldn't it be better if we encouraged our youth to develop a versatile synthesis of old ideas rather than mire them in a single ideology? At the very least, visiting the library and reading unpopular political thought is a better use of our time than degenerating our brains with televised trash.
